Our pork is available from Famers’ markets and Espresso on Ovens in Wangaratta.  We also provide a free home delivery service to selected areas within our region, or a courier service to Melbourne and Sydney.  Orders may be made via telephone or email a fortnight in advance of delivery.  We offer a range of quality, fresh pork cuts.

King Valley Free Range

King Valley Free Range is located at Oxley, in the King Valley, where we breed and raise rare Large Black pigs.  Our pigs, with their docile temperaments and placid natures, are free to roam our property, grazing on pasture and stands of lucerne.  They are free to wallow, play and forage, and have shelter and fresh water available at all times.

 

Large Black Pigs

Large Black pigs are a rare, heritage breed, renowned for their excellent flavour.  Once tasted, there is no going back to eating commercial breeds of pork.  Old fashioned breeds naturally carry more fat and marbling than their commercial counterparts.  The pork, which has a deep, rich, sweet taste provides a pleasurable and memorable eating experience.
