Roger Jenkins
I found Roger on the Earth Garden Forum. He is passionate and outspoken about "simple living", as are many of the EG Forum folk( me included lol). I read one of Roger's posts where he spoke of his woodcraft, and I was also impressed with his Forum sig: " Chippie,(woodworker), and avid recycler,-have set up
national amateur recyclers club to exchange ideas,& projects, plus aust-wide Barter / Swap, in exchange for items,(with little or no money changing hands), plus promote crafts made from recycled items, which in turn helps increase recycling and helps the earth's environment. for the future generations to enjoy." so I contacted him to find out more.
Roger lives in Port Vincent South Australia. I asked him to write a few words about his woodcraft:
"Over 20 years practical experience. Made almost everything from real furniture, to doll house furniture. Supplied Toy Plans for publication in The Australian Woodworker Magazine,- 1985 - 95, (till they changed their format.)Best achievement;-," Wooden Toy of the year," 1987 by the Editor of The Australian Woodworker magazine for a fully operational, telescopic boom, Mobile Crane, set to 1:20 scale. Very spectacular, & impressive toy to construct back then,- and still is."
Roger sells his woodcraft online at Easysell, here is the link to his woodcrafts: Roger Jenkins Crafts
