Like many people who try to live a simple living life, I grow as many veges as I can. Buying the seeds from supermarkets, hardware stores and even gardening places does NOT guarantee that they are non-hybrid, or not GM!

GM modified companies like Monsanto want to make it impossible for simple living folk to grow their own...hybrid and GM modified seeds can't have their seed collected and planted next season!

In the case of hybrids, you are unlikely to even get the same plant and with GM stuff, Monsanto can sue you if you grow from seeds you haven't directly purchased from them.

Our forefathers grew great fruit and veges! They grew them from seed saved every season...that's how it's done. When supermarkets started monopolising everything, they wanted fruit and veges that had a long shelf life...they weren't interested in "fresh food", or taste...so hybrids and GM stuff were developed. There was even a push some years ago to PATENT seeds!

In order to keep the integrity of those wonderful fruits and veges our forefathers grew, people started seed saver networks, and others offered true, heritage seeds...and today's Featured site is one of the best examples of a company that is keeping our heritage plants alive...and available!
