to the luxury of St. Albans mohair products. Our company was founded in 1951 and is the largest manufacturer of mohair products in Australia. The Mill, based in Melbourne, houses the latest specialized equipment needed to produce the premium quality mohair products the St. Albans name is renowned for, both in Australia and internationally.

St. Albans Textile Co. is a private Company purchased by the Gough family in 1968. They have developed the Company to the present state of the art manufacturing with quick response facilities. Originally, the Company concentrated on mohair but has expanded its manufacturing facilities to produce Alpaca products of the highest quality. Using Australian Alpaca, the Company is producing throw rugs, blankets and scarves for the domestic and international markets.

St. Albans is a small innovative Company, whose design team sources fibres, textures and colours from around the world, offering a unique Australian product whilst encompassing the latest trends the world has to offer.
