If you visit other Forums, you will likely have noticed that each one usually has some form of ranking- as you increase the number of Posts you make, your Forum Rank changes.
I'm sure you've all seen the mundane ones, each accompanied by the obligatory "stars", that get filled as you move up the ranks:
Newbie.....up to Hero and so on.
I'd like to set up a Ranking system for the SLFM Forum that is basically the opposite of the usual one.
SLFM is all about lessening our Global Footprint, sooooooo, I thought, why not have the "newbie" rank have all the stars FILLED with, say, black, and as the post count increases...the number of black stars decreases, and is replaced by green stars...but wait!! Why don't I make them little footprints instead of stars??? That way, as your post count increases, you lighten your footprint, from BLACK to GREEN.
So, now all I have to do is work out a NAME for each rank. I've thought maybe something like "Bigfoot" for the "newbie" rank...then progress up to something like, um, Lightfoot? or maybe Thistledown?

Dang! This is quite hard! So how about YOU folk give me some suggestions?? *grins*
There are 6 Ranks, so i need 6 different but relevant names.
I also need to designate the NUMBER of Posts you need to make before you move up to the next Rank, so if you have a good PLAN, do please post it. Remember..the more Posts you make, the faster you'll lighten your (Forum) Global Footprint! *winks*
(wanders off to start working on teeny tiny green and black footprints...or should that be "feetprints??!! )
